How do I register my child?

How old does my child need to be?
Claremont AYSO accepts players from ages 3 to 18. A complete list of the recommended age divisions for the current year can be found at this Age Division Page.
Where are practices and games held?
Practices and Games are held at several parks within Claremont.
What time is practice?
Practice days, times, and the specific location is determined by the coaches. The amount of time players practice per week varies from 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the age division.
When do games take place?
The Fall Season runs from August 1 through the Saturday before Thanksgiving with games beginning on the Saturday after Labor Day. Claremont is one of the few local AYSO Regions that include a Spring Season. This year, the Spring Season will run from March 1 through May 16. Games begin on March 7. Games for the younger divisions are played only on Saturdays with some weeknight games being held for U16/19. Games typically start early in the morning and extend through the day depending on the number of teams.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes training in soccer and team participation skill development, one complete uniform (a jersey, pair of shorts, and pair of socks), and a set of team pictures. However, the real benefit to participation is the experience of learning or perfecting a sport and having fun!
What equipment does my child need?
All players need to supply shin guards and a ball. Soccer cleats are recommended, but not required. Note the size of the ball depends on the age group. The Playground, Schoolyard, U6, and U8 divisions use size 3 balls. The U10 and U12 divisions us size 4 balls. Older divisions use size 5 balls.
